Serial start-up founder Ben Pasternak charged with assault in New York

Ben Pasternak, the Australian start-up founder who launched plant-based chicken nugget business Simulate at the height of the fake meat boom, has been charged with assault after being arrested on Tuesday in New York.
The 26-year-old, the grandson of wealthy Sydney real estate developer Bob Magid, pleaded not guilty after he was charged with one count of strangulation and two counts of assault with intention to cause physical injury following an alleged incident on March 31.
