BREAKING Major train station incident as police swarm in with huge disruption expected

National Rail has confirmed that trains between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central will be cancelled, revised or delayed as emergency services respond to an incident, with major disruption expected until the end of the day

Passengers have been cautioned to brace for “major disruption” with services cancelled, altered or delayed between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central while emergency teams deal with an incident.

This comes during a third day of Tube strikes across London, which has triggered travel mayhem in the capital and surrounding areas. “Trains between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central will be cancelled, revised or delayed until it is deemed safe for lines to reopen,” National Rail announced in a statement on X. “Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.”

Passengers could face waits of up to two hours when journeying between Euston and Milton Keynes Central today, National Rail has cautioned.

Those affected by the disruption can utilise their London Northwestern Railway tickets on the following services without additional charge:

  • Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street
  • CrossCountry between Leicester and Birmingham New Street
  • East Midlands Railway between London St Pancras International and Leicester
