Next week on Coronation Street, the murder mystery plot kicks off with one villainous character set to meet their end.
Across the week, the same day is revisited from the perspectives of the potential murder victims: Megan, Jodie, Carl, Theo and Maggie.
The action collides by the week’s end, resulting in Betsy’s grisly discovery of a body.

1. Carla and Lisa celebrate

The special week of episodes takes place on the day of Carla and Lisa’s wedding.
The brides arrive at Underworld for the reception but as family and friends celebrate the happy union, they are blissfully unaware of the dramatic events unfolding elsewhere…
2. Theo pays Todd a visit
ITV
Todd is horrified when Theo visits the flat. George arrives on the scene, and the pair manage to overpower Theo and make a hasty escape.
Todd and George report the encounter to Kit but there’s no sign of Theo at the flat.
3. Todd tries to escape
ITV
Spooked by the incident with Theo, Todd decides to leave the country. On the way to the airport, Todd realises he’s forgotten his phone and instructs the cab to stop.
As Todd returns to the street, he is confronted by Theo holding his phone.
4. Carl prepares to leave
ITV
Debbie reveals to Ronnie and Kevin that she’s paid Carl to leave Weatherfield and get out of their lives for good.
Carl tries to tie up some loose ends before departing, but this means winding up Abi, Tyrone, Theo and Kevin.
5. Carl puts Kevin in danger
ITV
Carl sees red after receiving a text from Kevin and decides to take revenge by tampering with the brakes on Kevin’s car.
Will Carl’s actions have deadly consequences?
6. Jodie makes a discovery

Fearing that her past has caught up with her, Jodie prepares to leave. When she hears Shona screaming, she’s shocked to see her sister accosted by two men.
Jodie hands over the stolen hard drive to save her sister.
After the encounter, Shona pleads with Jodie to stay but Jodie makes a discovery that proves Shona lied about never receiving her letter.
7. Jodie takes revenge

Infuriated by the discovery, Jodie plots revenge by making a desperate move to break up David and Shona’s marriage.
The bold act leaves Jodie on the street with nowhere to go. Unaware she’s being watched, Jodie heads to the swings. She’s taken aback when a figure approaches her…
8. Eva, Leanne and Toyah try to force a confession

Eva, Leanne and Toyah once again confront Megan in a bid to force a confession. The situation quickly escalates and a scuffle ensues.
Megan winds up with a punch on the nose and attempts to get sympathy from Daniel. Tired of Megan’s lies, Daniel kicks her out of Number 1.
9. Megan and Maggie face-off

Megan overhears a conversation between Maggie and Melanie and records some incriminating information about Maggie’s husband’s death.
Maggie confronts Megan over the recording but is incensed when Megan reveals a secret of her own.
10. Several lives are in danger
ITV
Todd plays a dangerous game by trying to outsmart Theo but Summer ends up caught in their crossfire.
Meanwhile, Megan’s lies are unravelled, and a shocking secret is discovered.
Elsewhere, Sarah is the victim of a terrifying home invasion and Ronnie decides to take matters into his own hands.
11. Betsy discovers a body

As everyone gathers to watch fireworks at the wedding reception, several lives are hanging in the balance.
Betsy discovers the body of one Weatherfield resident. Who has been murdered and who is responsible?
