Indianapolis, Fishers and Noblesville were under a tornado warning briefly on the evening of April 24, but the National Weather Service canceled the advisory at 5 p.m.
There is also a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for the broader Indianapolis metropolitan area.
“The storm has weakened and is expected to continue weakening,” said Greg Melo, a meteorologist with NWS.
Showers are possible into the evening, Melo said, but overnight weather will likely be clear. An isolated overnight shower can’t be ruled out, Melo said.
