The Shirt 2026 to be unveiled on Notre Dame’s campus

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — It’s an exciting weekend for Notre Dame football after two Fighting Irish running backs were drafted by the NFL. Students are getting ready to celebrate this year’s version of The Shirt on campus.
There is so much excitement here at the student union as The Shirt is unveiled.

And while it creates that iconic, unified look at Notre Dame’s home opener every year, it also supports a bigger cause beyond football.
“The Shirt Funds go to the Shirt Charity Fund, which helps students with unexpected medical expenses and needs, and it also goes to the Office of Student Enrichment, to benefit the student experience here at Notre Dame, and any needs that students may have, coming to Notre Dame and making their experience as awesome as it can be,” said Molly Sullivan, Co-President of The Shirt Project.
