Former bodyguard Matt Fiddes said Michael Jackson made a “delirious” phone call shortly before his death, claiming he had taken ephedrine, was over-rehearsed and was trying unsuccessfully to reach his father, Joseph Jackson. Fiddes said Jackson was erratic and under pressure ahead of his planned comeback concerts, but he did not believe he would die. He also criticised a new biopic about Jackson, saying it omits key allegations and misrepresents aspects of his life and career.
