Victoria police warn about major traffic disruptions Sunday for TC10K, Khalsa Day Parade

Police in Victoria, B.C., are telling residents and travellers to expect traffic disruptions on Sunday, as two major events attracting thousands of people are scheduled to take place.
The annual Times Colonist (TC) 10K run will be happening in the James Bay and Fairfield neighbourhoods.
The race starts at 8 a.m. The Times Colonist says close to 11,000 people are expected to take part in the event, up from around 9,000 people last year. Roads will be closed along major routes starting at around 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. PT.

Gurdwara Singh Sabha is hosting the celebration, and 7,000 people are expected to attend.
The festival is scheduled to take place at the Gurdwara Singh Sabha on Cecelia Road.
