An 80-year-old woman has finished her 14th London Marathon – her 31st marathon overall.
Sue Nicholls, from Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset, ran the marathon on Sunday to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
She said she enjoyed the run and did a better time than last year – five hours and 59 minutes – adding she’s “improving with age”.
“My husband Cliff died of cancer 18 years ago so I decided I need to do something positive, raise some money. I got addicted to running,” Nicholls said.
