High winds knock out power for thousands in West Michigan

WEST MICHIGAN — Thousands are without power as high winds sweep through West Michigan Monday afternoon.
The outages are primarily being reported in Kalamazoo, Ottawa, and Allegan counties, according to the Consumers Energy outage map.
As of 4:50 p.m., nearly 19,000 Michigan residents are affected.
