We’ve gotten some extra tidbits and information about The Sims 4 Laundry List for May 2026 as we anticipate the arrival of today’s Sims 4 Hotfix Update. EA Community Manager EA_Cade answered some questions on the official Sims Discord and shared additional teasers about how big the next Sims 4 Update is.
“Did you know that EA Forums has a 60,000 character limit for blogs? Neither did I, until I hit it when I was writing the [Sims 4] patch notes” said EA_Cade in a reply to a question asking for spoilers.

Considering this Sims 4 Update will fix a lot of things, its also expected by the usual Sims fashion that a lot of things will break as well. Both modders and players should expect this Sims 4 Update to hit in the first half of May 2026, with the full Sims 4 Laundry List being released next week.
