‘Too big for darts now?’ – Littler in dig at Angry Ginge for Ally Pally no-show

LUKE LITTLER fired a hilarious jab at pal Angry Ginge after the I’m A Celeb star failed to attend his World Darts Championship opener.

Littler began his title defence with a bang as he comfortably beat Darius Labanauskas 3-0 at Ally Pally on Thursday night.

But one face conspicuously missing from the crowd was streamer and friend Angry Ginge – real name Morgan Burtwhistle.

The 24-year-old from Salford was in attendance alongside Littler when he won last year’s edition of the tournament.

But circumstances were a bit different this time around as Burtwhistle made his way back from Australia after winning I’m A Celeb.

He arrived back in the UK on Wednesday, but didn’t make the journey to London to see his friend play.

Littler got his own back after seeing two members of Burtwhistle’s streaming group The Bov Boys, Tays and Chazza, were at Ally Pally without him.

The Nuke took to his Instagram story to mock his mate, tagging him before saying: “Too big for the darts now I see, won the jungle have we?”

The 18-year-old World No1 might be regretting casting one of the votes that saw his pal crowned King of the Jungle last week.

But while his faux jibes aimed at Burtwhistle are all fun and games, Littler was not playing around when asked if he would ever go on the show.

He said: “No, I actually wouldn’t. No.

“I’d said I would for the right money, but I’ve been watching it now, and no, I just couldn’t. No way.

“Especially with it being like…what is it? Twenty-three hours away in Australia, on a flight, away from home, eating that stuff. Nah. Not good. Not good.

“Me watching it, I don’t think I could actually do it. No. Especially the first two trials, especially what (rapper) Aitch had to do.

“I said to my girlfriend Faith, no, I’m not doing it ever. No way. There’s no way.”
