Two Haredi men were stabbed outside a synagogue in London’s Golders Green neighborhood on Wednesday in an apparent knife attack targeting Jewish members of the public.
According to Shomrim, a Jewish neighborhood patrol group, a man was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and attempting to stab Jewish passersby.
Shomrim volunteers responded immediately and detained the suspect until police arrived. Officers deployed a Taser at the scene and arrested the man.
The two victims were treated by Hatzola, the Jewish emergency medical service. Their condition was not immediately clear.
The suspect remains in custody, and further details are expected.
