Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour and the medical examiner’s office are investigating after a fisherman died aboard a boat last week in Cape Breton waters.
In an email, the department said a worker was fatally injured while on board a fishing boat off St. Peter’s.
Also in an email, Richmond County RCMP said they were called in after the incident was reported April 23 at around 1:30 p.m.
RCMP referred all other questions to the Labour Department.
