Synagogue and homes evacuated due to property fire

Several homes and a synagogue have been evacuated due to a large fire at a property in Stamford Hill, north London.
Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines are at the scene on Cazenove Road, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
The Metropolitan Police said it was “early stages” and it was “keeping an open mind as to the cause of the fire”.
The force added: “We appreciate that given the location of the fire and proximity to the synagogue, there will undoubtedly be community concern.”
