Who Leaked the Audio From the ‘Summer House’ Reunion?

The thirst for more Summer House drama is unquenchable. The friendship betrayal/love triangle of Ciara Miller, West Wilson, and Amanda Batula is still being dissected through thousands of TikTok and Instagram comments. This demand is perhaps why someone decided to majorly breach reality TV protocol (and probably get themselves fired) by leaking audio from the Summer House season-ten reunion taping. By now, at least three audio clips have been leaked from the taping.
Andy Cohen has called the leaks “a violation” that “ruins the integrity of the show and all the hard work of the cast who we love.” Bravo launched a full investigation, and while it hasn’t shared everything it’s discovered, it has cleared the cast of wrongdoing — well, at least of being the leak. So let’s walk through what happened, starting with the filming of the reunion itself.
The reunion was filmed on a New York soundstage on April 23, 2026. It started at 10:30 a.m. and wrapped around 8 p.m., with an hour-long break for lunch.
As is customary with reunion tapings, Bravo provided the seating chart beforehand.
Cohen led proceedings from the center. On the day of taping, he posted a mirror selfie in an apricot suit. We still don’t know what the cast wore or what level of revenge dress Miller was operating at.
At the center were Miller and Batula — flanked by the men involved in the drama, Wilson and Batula’s husband, Kyle Cooke. (Legally, they are still married. More on that later.) Also present were Lindsay Hubbard, Carl “is a mess” Radke, Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Levi Sebree, Bailey Taylor, and Ben Waddell.
As a rule, the only people at a reunion are the cast, Cohen, production, and glam. The cast’s glam team is sequestered from the actual set, however. You can see examples of how reunions are laid out in the season-ten Vanderpump Rules reunion, a.k.a. the “Scandoval” reunion, which included a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff due to Rachel Leviss’s restraining order against Scheana Shay complicating the process.
So the reunion filming is routine at this point, but according to Cohen, emotions running during this particular one were anything but. “This situation has truly sent shock waves through this group,” he said on Radio Andy. “I know that’s a Chris Harrison kind of ‘most dramatic Rose Ceremony ever’ statement, but it really has caused shock waves through the group in ways that I didn’t even realize until I sat there looking into the faces and hearing from some of these housemates.”
The first piece of leaked audio appeared on fan-dominated online spaces like Reddit and TikTok the night of April 26. According to Cohen, none of the “dedicated” Bravo fan accounts posted the leaked audio. “May I also thank the Bravo fan accounts, the dedicated Bravo fan accounts? None of which posted the illegal audio from the reunion,” he said on Radio Andy. “They also weren’t posting any garbage hot takes blaming the cast.”
Almost immediately, online sleuths began speculating in two directions: (1) A cast member leaked the audio to prevent Batula and Wilson from getting a softer edit, or (2) it was someone in the control room or post department. For the former, fans point out that all of the leaks leave Batula in particular coming off very poorly. Evidence of the latter theory includes that everyone’s voices sound equidistant in the recordings, meaning someone could have been recording what was picked up off the microphones.
When the first leak dropped, Bravo announced that it was launching a full investigation. Cohen said that “audiologists” were enlisted to figure out where the recording came from.

The three leaks all relate to Wilson and Batula’s relationship and how it was brought to public attention. In the first, Batula defends dating Wilson by alluding to something Miller said on the show about the pitfalls of dating white men as a Black woman. The second discusses the joint statement Wilson and Batula made announcing their “connection” and why an apology to Miller wasn’t included. Batula also demands that Miller stop saying she is still married to Cooke. (She is, in fact, still married to Cooke.) In the third recording, Batula says she was “terrified” to speak to Miller about her and Wilson, but Miller finds a flaw in that statement.
On Threads, Cohen said, “People laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours yesterday and it’s disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this. It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season play out.”
Cooke went on Instagram Stories to say the leaks were “super frustrating” and urged the leaker to “seek cover” and “legal counsel.”
Yup. “An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion,” a Bravo spokesperson said on April 26. “There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.”
Cohen says a Bravo fan was the one who found the rat and brought them to Bravo’s attention. On Radio Andy, he said it was “a Bravo fan — who you’re gonna hear more about — who cracked the case.” He said he “cannot wait” to talk about this fan, leading some to speculate that it’s a celeb superfan like Jennifer Lawrence.
Cohen says something similar happened back in the day. In that case, only deets were leaked, not audio. “I’m not going to say what Housewives, and I’m not going to say because I know which Housewife leaked it,” Cohen said on Radio Andy. “A Housewife leaked everything that happened at a very dramatic reunion. And this Bravo fan account posted everything that had happened, and they were correct.” Cohen says he DM’d the account, asking why they wanted to ruin the show for everyone else. Cohen says the account was apologetic, took the leaked recap down, and ratted on the Housewife who blabbed. “The Housewife doesn’t know that I know that it was them,” he said, “but I do know.”
The reunion episode(s) have not been officially announced yet. The Summer House season-ten finale is May 19, immediately followed by the premiere of spinoff In the City. May 26 is a good guess for the first installment of the reunion. How many episodes it will go for is also not known at this time. (Scandoval wove through three reunion eps.) So we have a while before we know whether anyone got off a barb as cutting as Ariana Madix’s “Go fuck yourself with a cheese grater.”
