Gamebred Fighting Championship: Romero vs. Nicholson Full Card, How to watch

Ryan Wohl previews tonight’s Gamebred Fighting Championship Bareknuckle MMA card, which features Yoel Romero and is promoted by Jorge Masvidal.
After a successful return in April, Gamebred Fighting Championship is back for another Bareknuckle MMA event. This event is taking place tonight at Unrivaled Arena in Miami, Florida. This card is headlined by former UFC title challenger Yoel Romero vs. Alex Nicholson in a Heavyweight contest. Romero was originally scheduled to face Hector Lombard on this card. Every fight on this card is a three-round, five-round contest. Former UFC BMF Champion Jorge Masivdal helps run Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA.
Even at 48, the legend Romero remains active. This is Romero’s eighth contest since 2024, and he has competed for PFL, Dirty Boxing, BKFC, RAF, and IBA Bare Knuckle in that span. Although this is his first Bare Knuckle MMA fight, he is 1-1 in his two previous Bare Knuckle Boxing bouts. Nicholson, 35, has a 16-11 MMA record and previously fought in the UFC and PFL. In Gamebred Fighting Championship, Nicholson is 3-2, and last fought for the promotion in November 2024.
10-year UFC veteran Marcos Rogerio de Lima is taking on Tafon Nchukwi in a Heavyweight contest on this card. Since leaving the UFC in December 2024, de Lima picked up a victory at APEC 2025. Nchukwi went 3-4 from 2020 to 2023, competing in Dana White’s Contender Series and the UFC.
Another notable name on this card is longtime MMA veteran Tim Johnson, who faces Daniel James. After leaving the PDFL in May 2025, Johnson went 1-1 while competing in Karate Combat. James has also spent time recently in Karate Combat and is making his Gamebred Bare Knuckle debut.
The winner of the Ultimate Fighter 31, Kurt Holobaugh, is facing Jordan Griffin in a lightweight contest. Holobaugh went 1-3 in his last four fights in the UFC and now has an opportunity in a new sport. This is Griffin’s first contest since January 202, when he beat Travis Karppinen at Warrior Games 17.
