Warburtons bread factory fire LIVE as TV star Bank of Dave ‘offers to rescue people’ from helicopter

Warburtons have provided us with an update. A rep has confirmed that all staff were evacuated.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

A spokesperson for Warburtons said: “We can confirm that a fire is underway at our Burnley bakery, thankfully everyone has safely been evacuated from the building.

“We are grateful to the fire brigade who are currently working extremely hard to get the fire under control. We dont know the cause of the fire, or the full extent of the damage as yet.”
