Oscoda County evacuation notice on Camp 10 Road due to wildfires

OSCODA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Oscoda County Sheriff’s Office is beginning evacuations for residents on Camp 10 Road moving away from the river due to unsafe conditions from wildfires.

Residents in the area are being asked to leave immediately and seek shelter.

The Sheriff’s Office asks residents to follow instructions from emergency personnel on scene.

A shelter will be set up at the community center in Mio.

The Sheriff’s Office currently has no power and is unable to receive phone calls at this time.
