Lisa Looks Angelic in Custom Robert Wun at the 2026 Met Gala

While Lisa is no stranger to dramatic couture creations, her look for the 2026 Met Gala might be her most angelic yet. The global superstar teamed up with Robert Wun for a diaphanous custom gown—one that bridges fashion and art by evoking the sculpted body. And while Lisa has been spotted wearing Wun’s designs over the last five years, tonight is the first time she and Wun have ever met in person.

Wun took his cues directly from this year’s theme, “Costume Art,” and from Lisa’s own form. The look’s arm motif is reminiscent of Wun’s fall 2025 couture collection, but his team worked closely with Lisa to 3D scan her own arms to create a veiled arrangement that takes inspiration from traditional Thai dance positions.

Lisa is a member of the Met Gala host committee this year—a first for the pop star and actress. She also attended the Met Gala in 2025, fresh off the success of season two of The White Lotus and an epic solo set at Coachella. (For that year’s red carpet theme, “Tailored for You,” she wore a party-girl approved suit by Louis Vuitton, complete with sheer logo-emblazoned tights.)

That undeniably pop star-esque look made a splash with the “Blinks”—i.e. Blackpink fans—and upon closer look, the garment revealed further details that nodded to the evening’s theme: Henry Taylor, who painted Pharrell Williams for Vogue’s cover last year, embroidered portraits into the bodice of the blazer. As Lisa has always shown in her fashion, the details are what make it pop!
