Pat Kenny believes Patrick Kiel­ty may walk away from The Late Late Show because of the “gruelling” changes in his personal life since he and his wife, TV presenter Cat Deeley, split up.

Kenny said he asked Kielty before an appearance on the Late Late to promote his new weekend show on Newstalk if he would continue to present the Friday night programme from September.
