18 23 injured in shooting at Arin shooting at Arcadia Lake Park in Edmond; Suspects sought

EDMOND, Okla. —- We’re learning more details following a mass shooting that injured several people late Sunday at a park near Arcadia Lake.
The shooting occurred shortly after 9 pm at Spring Creek Park, located at Arcadia Lake, according to Edmond Police Department officials.
Two men wearing ski masks opened fire, injuring more than a dozen people, police said.
Initially, Edmond police said 10 people had been transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Now, we’re learning that number has grown.
Officials with INTEGRIS Health and OU Health said they have treated 23 patients connected to the Arcadia Lake shooting.
As of a late-night news briefing around 11:15 p.m. by police spokesperson Emily Ward, no suspects were in custody.
Ward said officers are reviewing footage from Flock license plate reader cameras in an effort to identify those responsible.
Responding agencies included the Edmond Police Department, Oklahoma City Police Department and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The gathering where the shooting occurred was described by attendees as a “Sunday Funday event,” though police said they do not yet have details about the nature of the party, such as whether it was tied to a specific celebration. Most attendees were believed to be young adults or older teenagers, and officials said they do not believe young children were present.
Authorities confirmed that next of kin notifications have been made for all known victims.
