Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died and a dog was stabbed in Staffordshire.
The victim was found injured on Hazel Grove, Burntwood, after officers were called to reports of two men fighting on Tuesday morning, Staffordshire Police said.
He was pronounced dead shortly after 10:00 BST, a force spokesperson confirmed, while the dog, which was found in a house with suspected stab wounds, was taken to a vet for treatment.
Two men, aged 32 and 27, and a 33-year-old woman have been arrested and a cordon has been put in place while officers investigate.
