Rain and (heavy) snow Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday

- Increasing rain and snow chances Tuesday.
- All snow Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
- Warmer Thursday and into the weekend.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and dry this morning, increasing rain chances this afternoon. Changing over to snow during the evening commute over the Palmer Divide and in Teller County. Highs in the 40s and low 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Changing to all snow overnight and Wednesday morning with a messy commute expected! Snowlines increase back to 5,500-6,000′ during the day, before dropping back down in the evening as showers slowly wrap up. Roads can be slushy above 6,800-7,000′ throughout most of this event, but lots of the snow will melt as well. 3-6″ in Colorado Springs, an inch or two in Pueblo and for the southeastern Plains. Maybe up to a foot above 7,000-7,500′! Downed trees and power lines are possible, so keep an eye on power outages. Highs in the 30s and low 40s.
THURSDAY – FRIDAY: Dry and mostly sunny, highs back in the 60s and 70s.
WEEKEND: Some showers and storms possible, highs still in the 60s and 70s.
