VOTE: Who was the best player of Matchweek 35?

Matchweek 35 of the 2025/26 Premier League season featured some brilliant individual performances.
We have picked out seven of the best and are inviting you to vote for one of them, to help decide who will be named the Premier League Player of the Matchweek.
You have until 12:00 BST on Wednesday 6 May to cast your vote. The winner will be announced later on the same day.
Taiwo Awoniyi (Chelsea 1-3 Nottingham Forest)
In just his second start of the season, Nottingham Forest forward Awoniyi delivered a complete striker’s performance in their sensational victory against Chelsea to boost their hopes of Premier League safety.
The Nigerian striker got Forest off to a flyer when he scored with a fine header after two minutes. He also won them a penalty which Igor Jesus converted, before adding his second goal of the match seven minutes into the second half.

Thierno Barry (Everton 3-3 Manchester City)
Everton striker Barry enjoyed a memorable evening against Man City at Hill Dickinson Stadium, scoring twice off the bench in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Barry was brought on in the 64th minute and made an impact just four minutes later, converting from close range after Marc Guehi’s backpass fell short. Barry then tapped home for his second goal of the game to put Everton 3-1 up.

Jeremy Doku (Everton 3-3 Manchester City)
Doku scored two incredible goals in Man City’s draw with Everton on Monday evening, a result that had huge implications on their title aspirations.
The Belgian winger opened the scoring two minutes from half-time with a sensational left-footed curling strike into the top corner. He then produced a similar effort in the seventh minute of second-half stoppage time to rescue a point for Man City.

Conor Gallagher (Aston Villa 1-2 Spurs)
Tottenham Hotspur and Gallagher grabbed the opportunity to move out of the bottom three with both hands, the day after West Ham United’s 3-0 defeat to Brentford opened the door.
Spurs’ No 22 scored the opening goal of the match with a superb low strike from range after just 12 minutes and he also made his presence felt by producing three tackles and making six recoveries.

Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal 3-0 Fulham)
The Arsenal striker put in an incredible display against Fulham, scoring two goals and providing an assist.
Gyokeres opened the scoring from close range after team-mate Bukayo Saka delivered a pinpoint cross. The Swede then returned the favour, running the channel and holding up the ball before he slipped in Saka, who netted the Gunners’ second goal.
The 27-year-old sealed his double with a delightful header — his 14th Premier League goal of the season. Only Thierry Henry (17) and Alexis Sanchez (16) have scored more Premier League goals in their debut campaign for Arsenal.
Gyokeres now has 21 goals in all competitions for the Gunners, a historic feat as only 13 players in Arsenal’s history have scored 20+ goals in their debut season.

Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United 3-2 Liverpool)
After signing a new long-term contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2031, Mainoo delivered a masterful midfield display against rivals Liverpool.
The 21-year-old did it all as he evaded on-rushing players with dancing feet, expertly broke up attacks and then scored the winner with a brilliant, drilled effort into the bottom corner.
It was a confident display from Mainoo that helped Man Utd secure UEFA Champions League football.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal 3-0 Fulham)
In his first start since March, Arsenal’s No 7 produced a dazzling display in their emphatic victory over Fulham.
In just one half, Saka created the opening goal for Gyokeres in the ninth minute after he left Fulham forward Raul Jimenez on the floor before delivering a superb low cross. He then turned goalscorer shortly before the break when he produced a fierce low drive into the bottom-right corner.
