Uruguayan press reports have revealed new developments regarding the future of Darwin Núñez with Al Hilal Club, amid a state of anticipation within the club’s corridors before the end of the season.
The newspaper “El Observador” reported that Al Hilal’s management has begun a comprehensive review of the foreign players’ file in preparation for making decisive decisions regarding the roster for the next season.
It was explained that Núñez is considered one of the most prominent names likely to leave the team, especially given his limited participation in local competitions recently.
This is due to the player’s previous registration being limited to the Asian list only, before Al-Hilal’s exit from the AFC Champions League for the elite, which reduced his chances of appearing.
The management of “Al-Za’eem” aims to finalize the matter definitively after the current season ends, either by retaining the player and including him in the local roster or by marketing him and benefiting financially.
