Jordyn Woods Swaps Custom Knicks Pumps for Clear Heels Courtside at Madison Square Garden

While a slew of stars were busy taking fashion cues from historical art on the Met steps at the 2026 Met Gala, Jordyn Woods had a different kind of New York fashion moment happening courtside.

The model arrived at Madison Square Garden on Monday for Karl-Anthony Towns’ Game 1 matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers in transparent heels, swapping the custom Knicks pumps she wore earlier in the playoffs for a pair tied more closely to the growing clear shoe trend.

The Knicks opened the series with a 137-98 win over the 76ers, and Woods arrived at the Garden in transparent heels that were partly hidden beneath her pants. The front of the pair was visible: an open toe, a clear band across the foot and a transparent finish that left the pedicure exposed.

The vamp recalled the clear-band effect of Amina Muaddi’s Lupita Transparent Mule sandals — a brand Woods has favored in the past — though Woods’ full silhouette was hard to confirm under the wide hem. A reflective silver-toned footbed or sole edge was also visible, giving the pair a sharper finish than the softer nude-base PVC sandals that have been everywhere this season.

From the front, Woods’ pair fit into the current designer clear shoe conversation, where PVC has moved well beyond the barely there sandal. Gianvito Rossi’s Plexi collection, for example, uses clear panels and patent leather on Italian-made pumps, while Amina Muaddi’s Begum Glass styles pair transparent PVC with a 95mm heel and pointed-toe construction. Woods’ pair appeared closer to the open-toe side of the category, with the visible silver edge adding a dressier, almost glass slipper finish.

Woods wore the heels with a custom LaPointe look in Knicks colors. She layered a cropped navy jacket with deep blue feathered shoulders over a white tank marked with “Towns” in orange script. The matching dark wide-leg pants featured orange embellished diagonal bands down the legs, with Towns’ No. 32 visible on the back.

The look followed one of Woods’ earlier playoff appearances at MSG. In April, she arrived in custom white pointed pumps personalized for Towns, with the Knicks logo on one shoe and his number 32 on the other.

Woods has already used transparent footwear for personal moments, too. For her Christmas Day engagement reveal with Towns, she wore Alaïa’s white Le Coeur slingbacks, a pointed patent style with the house’s heart-shaped front cutout and transparent polyurethane sides.

Other celebrities have been working the same clear-shoe idea from different angles. A night earlier, Zoë Kravitz wore Saint Laurent’s fall 2026 PVC slingbacks to Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala dinner, taking the trend into an elongated pump shape. Chrissy Teigen wore Gianvito Rossi’s Cher heels at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony a few weeks prior, choosing a clear PVC open-toe style with a nude 95mm stiletto.
