Paul Farman: Veteran goalkeeper signs new Swansea City contract

Veteran goalkeeper Paul Farman has agreed a new one-year deal which will keep him at Swansea City next season.

Farman, 36, joined Swansea on a free transfer last August to provide competition for first-choice keeper Lawrence Vigouroux and Andy Fisher.

The Englishman has played more than 500 senior games in a career which has included spells at Lincoln City, Stevenage, Carlisle United and Barrow.

He is yet to play a first-team game at Swansea, but will remain at the Championship club to provide back-up to Vigouroux and Fisher once more in 2026-27.

Farman had been one of only two senior Swansea players whose contracts were due to expire this summer alongside defender Joel Ward.

There is no word yet on whether former Crystal Palace captain Ward, also 36, will remain in Wales.
