Social media influencer arrested after allegedly refusing to pay nearly $400 worth of food at Nashville restaurant

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Social media personality Dalton Eatherly, also known as “Chud the Builder,” was arrested on Saturday, May 9 after he reportedly bought nearly $400 worth of food at Bob’s Steak and Chop and didn’t pay for it, according to an arrest affidavit.

According to the affidavit, Eatherly, who films content, including racially charged content on Broadway, was asked by the restaurant that he does not live stream or be disruptive for dining service.

After ordering two full entrees, drinks and appetizers, totaling $371.55, the restaurant realized he had been live streaming and asked him to stop.

According to the affidavit, Eatherly became disruptive and started making racial statements, yelling, screaming and creating a scene.

Eatherly then reportedly made statements of not paying for his food, which he consumed during his time at the restaurant, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit said Eatherly intended to deprive, withhold and otherwise refused to make a payment for the meal he had consumed.

Eatherly was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and theft of services. Eatherly was booked on a bond totaling $5,000.
