🇨🇾 Cyprus: RIK Trito Airing Eurovision 2026

The Cypriot radio station RIK Trito will air the three shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 live from Vienna.
Radio listeners in Cyprus will be able to listen to the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest live. RIK Trito, the third channel of the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC and has aired the competition for a number of years.
Melina Karageorgiou has been announced by CyBC as its commentator for the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Melina Karageorgiou will be commentating on the Eurovision Song Contest for the fourteenth time, having first commentated on the competition in 2008. She will be alone in the commentary booth for the first time since the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden.
Cyprus will be represented this year by Antigoni and “Jalla”, performing 8th in the second semi-final on May 14. You can find more about Antigoni below:

Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest
Cyprus debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981. Their best result was in 2018, when Eleni Foureira and the song “Fuego” finished second with 436 points. Before then, their best results in the contest came in the form of three fifth-place finishes. These fifth-place finishes were Anna Vissi with “Mono i agapi” in 1982, Hara & Andreas Constantinou with “Mana mou” in 1997 and Lisa Andreas with “Stronger Every Minute” in 2004. Cyprus currently holds the record for the most participations in Eurovision without a win.
