Nasr El Din Lifts Al Nassar to 1-1 Draw Against Al Akhdar

al nassar opened the Libyan Premier League playoff group stage with a 1-1 draw against Al Akhdar SC in Group Two. After a scoreless first half, Nasr El Din pulled Al Nasr level and secured a point in the opening round.
Nasr El Din, Al-Jazouli Nouh
Al-Jazouli Nouh put Al Akhdar ahead before Nasr El Din answered for Al Nasr. The match stayed tight until the equalizer, and neither side found a winner after the break.
The draw leaves Al Nasr with one point from its first playoff match, a useful start in a group where the opening round already produced narrow results and little room for a slip. Group Two began with Al Akhdar and Al Nasr sharing the points while the rest of the stage unfolded around them.
Al Hilal Benghazi, Al Ahly Benghazi
Al Hilal Benghazi also took a 1-0 win over Al Afreky, with Anis Khamisiya scoring the only goal. Al Ahly Benghazi added another tight result by beating Al Ittihad Al Askari 2-1.
Jibril Sylla and Hammam Ghrimbil scored for Al Ahly Benghazi, while Saleh Al Taher struck after the break for Al Ittihad Al Askari. Those results pushed the opening round toward the same pattern seen in Benghazi: narrow margins, few chances for recovery, and points being decided by a single finish.
Tripoli and Misurata
Group One began with Al Ittihad Tripoli and Al Ahli Tripoli drawing 0-0 in the capital derby. Elsewhere, Al Madina SC beat Al Olympic Club 3-2 and Asswehly SC beat Al Ittihad Misurata 1-0 in a derby.
The second round was set for Sunday, and Al Nasr will carry its point into that next stage after a match that never opened up before halftime. In a playoff group where every early result is tightening the race, the equalizer from Nasr El Din gave Al Nasr a foothold instead of an opening-day setback.
