Mason Alexander Park to Make Long-Awaited Broadway Debut in Jamie Lloyd’s Much Ado About Nothing

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more, because the complete London company of Jamie Lloyd’s Much Ado About Nothing will be crossing the pond.

Previously announced stars Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell will be reunited with the entire West End cast and creative team for their limited 10-week engagement at the Winter Garden Theatre. The classic tale of rivalry-turned-romance is set in a modern dance party with loads of pink props.

Helmed by Tony-winning director-producer Lloyd (Sunset Blvd), the production will begin previews October 31 ahead of a November 19 opening night. Much Ado About Nothing is scheduled to play through January 10, 2027.

Hiddleston and Atwell will be joined by Mara Huf as Hero, Mika Onyx Johnson as Borachio, Gerald Kyd as Don Pedro, Forbes Masson as Leonato, Phillip Olagoke as Friar Francis, Mason Alexander Park as Margaret, James Phoon as Claudio, and Tim Steed as Don John.

This will mark Park’s long awaited Broadway debut: a West End favorite, Park recently completed their run originating the role of Mary Todd Lincoln in the West End production Cole Escola’s Oh, Mary!. In addition to Much Ado About Nothing, Park’s other West End credits include the Emcee in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, and The Tempest.

The creative team for Much Ado About Nothing includes set and costume designer Soutra Gilmour, lighting designer Jon Clark, sound designers and composers Ben and Max Ringham, choreographer Fabian Aloise, intimacy coordinator Ingrid Mackinnon, fight director Kate Waters, associate director and text editor Jon Glew, hair wig and makeup designer Carole Hancock, associate director Conner Wilson, associate choreographer Charlie Martin, music supervisors Huw Evans and Adam Rothenberg, and production stage manager Johnny Milani.

Casting is by Stuart Burt, Jim Carnahan, and Alexandre Bleau. Much Ado About Nothing on Broadway is produced by The Jamie Lloyd Company. 101 Productions, Ltd. will serve as general managers.
