‘Avatar: Fire And Ash’ Sets Streaming Date At Disney+

Avatar: Fire and Ash will be heading to Disney+ on June 24. The news was revealed Tuesday during Disney’s Upfront presentation in New York. The move to streaming follows a 196-day theatrical window after the film’s release on Dec. 10, 2025.

A box office juggernaut, the James Cameron film became the third in the franchise to click past the $1 billion mark.

The story of Avatar: Fire and Ash picks up shortly after Avatar: The Way of Water. In it, Jake and Neytiri’s family grapples with grief while facing a new, aggressive Na’vi tribe known as the Ash People, led by the ruthless Varang.

Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington headline the ensemble cast, along with Sigourney Weaver, who announced the date onstage, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Oona Chaplain, Bailey Bass and David Thewlis.

Cameron directed from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Produced by Lightstorm Entertainment and released by 20th Century Studios.
