Senior Kaleigh Kapler rushed for an 8-yard touchdown with a minute to go in the game, and senior quarterback Cam Czwakiel found senior wideout Ava Loucopoulos on the subsequent 1-point conversion to rally the Eagles (9-1) past the Wildcats (8-3).
Middletown South awaits the winner of tomorrow’s quarterfinal game between (2) Trinity Hall and (7) Rumson-Fair Haven in the semifinals.

The Golden Eagles (8-2) rallied for 13 fourth-quarter points for a comeback victory over the Hornets (8-2), as quarterback Keely Gifford threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns to set up a rematch with top-seeded Barnegat (10-0) in the semifinals.
Gifford threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Olivia Delmonico and then hit Kaitlyn Massa with the extra-point pass for a 7-6 lead. Gifford then tacked on another score when she threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Olivia Bowman.
Julia Kern threw a 6-yard TD pass to Shayla Shah in the loss for Holmdel.
