Ben Stiller, Nicholas Galitzine And Bella Maclean To Star In Netflix Pic ‘A Matter Of Time’ From Director Harry Bradbeer
Ben Stiller, Nicholas Galitzine and Bella Maclean are set to star in the Netflix pic A Matter of Time, with Enola Holmes director Harry Bradbeer helming. The announcement of the casting was made Wednesday during the Netflix upfront presentation in New York.
The film follows an unlikely angel who is sent from heaven to convince a reclusive man to give up his life for the greater good. The man agrees, only for his impending death to trigger a new lease on life, and a romance that threatens to change the course of history.
The script was penned by Justin Haythe, Madeleine George, Peter Byrne and Simon Beaufoy. The film is a Sony production, with Debra Hayward and Larry Mark also joining as producers. Michael Dreyer is executive producing.
The film is part of the partnership between Netflix and Sony Pictures in which Sony will offer Netflix a first look at any films it intends to make for streaming.
Galitzine can be seen next in the Amazon MGM Studios He-Man movie Masters of the Universe, which bows next month in theaters. Stiller has his anticipated Meet the Parents sequel to Focker-In-Law coming this Thanksgiving. He is also in the Apple limited series The Off Weeks, which is currently shooting. Maclean is best known for her roles in the series Sex Education and Rivals.
