Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has been called up to the France squad for this summer’s World Cup.
Konate’s place in his country’s selection for the tournament – to be played in the USA, Mexico and Canada – was announced today.
Les Bleus are in Group I and will face Senegal (June 16), Iraq (June 22) and Norway (June 26) during the opening phase.
