🇦🇹 Austria: JJ Going on European Tour in September

Johannes Pietsch, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, has announced a European tour set to take place later this year.
The winner of last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, JJ, will embark on his first European Tour in September 2026. During the tour, he will perform in several countries across Europe, including Germany, Poland, Czechia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and his home country of Austria.

Tickets will go on sale on May 22 and can be purchased online.
JJ won the Eurovision Song Contest last year in Basel and brought the contest back to Vienna for its 70th edition. He won with the song Wasted Love, scoring a total of 436 points. Austria secured its third victory, having previously won the contest in 1966 and 2014.

Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest
Austria debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957. Bob Martin represented the country on their debut but finished in last place scoring just 3 points. Austria has won the contest three times, the first being in 1966 when Udo Jürgens performed “Merci, Cherie”. It was 48 years later when Austria won again in 2014, when Conchita Wurst performed “Rise Like a Phoenix”, scoring a total of 290 points. Austria’s third win came in 2025, when JJ sang “Wasted Love” and scored 436 points.
