UPDATE: Diggins is listed as questionable to return.

Tough go for the Chicago Sky on Friday night. Looking to get off to a 3-0 start, they got down big against the Phoenix Mercury. To add insult to injury, Skylar Diggins took a shot to the face in the second quarter, and made a beeline for the locker room.

Her status for the remainder of the game is unknown, but the urgent run to the locker room doesn’t inspire confidence. Before leaving the game, Diggins recorded two rebounds and three assists in 12 minutes of play.
