Legendary Voice of Dr Hook Passes Away After Long Illness

Dennis Locorriere, lead singer of Dr. Hook, passed away on May 16th (@DrHookOfficial on X).

The lead vocalist from the band Dr. Hook has died.

Dennis Locorriere, aged 76, passed away after a long battle with kidney disease.

Locorriere was best known for singing with the band Dr Hook and The Medicine Show throughout the 70’s and creating tracks like Sylvia’s Mother and When You’re in Love With a Beautiful Woman.

He eventually moved on to a solo career and over more than fifty years recorded at least 18 albums.

In a statement released by his management company, it notes Locorriere passed away yesterday surrounded by his loved ones.
