Paris Hilton Looks Unrecognizable With Her Darkest Hair in Years on the Runway for Gucci

The Gist

  • Paris Hilton debuted a dramatic dark brunette look on the runway at Guccicore: Gucci Cruise 2027 on May 16.

  • She also wore side swept microbangs.

  • This marks her first runway appearance in three years.

Paris Hilton is practically the queen of blonde It-girls—but not anymore. In her first runway appearance in three years, she ditched her signature bright blonde in favor of something much darker. And she looks practically unrecognizable.

Hilton walked the runway for Gucci at the GucciCore show showcasing creative director Demna Gvasalia’s Gucci Cruise 2027 line on May 16 in New York. Instead of her famous light blonde locks, she debuted a dark, almost black brunette hue, which she wore long and silky straight, with a fresh set of side swept bangs.

As for her runway look, Hilton wore a highlighter yellow long-sleeved dress with a pussy bow collar and full pleated midiskirt. The dress featured a spin on the fashion house’s iconic horse hardware print. She wore it with the instantly recognizable Gucci green and red waist-cinching belt and a pair of knee-high black boots. A fuzzy coat was thrown over one shoulder and she carried a bright red box bag.

This marks Hilton’s first runway appearance since she walked the runway in the Mugler Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show in October 2023 as part of Paris Fashion Week.

Hilton’s Gucci appearance marks a strong stylistic contrast from her last outing. Earlier this month, she made an appearance at a Barbie pop-up event where she looked like one of the famous dolls come to life in a pink two-piece with her famous platinum blonde hair.

Speaking to InStyle last October, Hilton opened up about her life as a mom to Phoenix and London, whom she shares with husband Carter Reum.

“Being a mom has been the most incredible thing in the world,” she said. “When I look at Phoenix and London, I see the future, and I want that future to be full of love, empathy, and inclusion. Motherhood gave me this deeper purpose and even more of that fire to make the world a kinder place for the next generation to grow up in.”

She added, “I just want to continue leaving my sparkle everywhere that I go.”
