The Gunners are now just 45 minutes away from being within touching distance of the Premier League title after taking a 1-0 lead into the break.
Following the first-half, Arsenal fans have been full of praise for the combination play between Havertz and Saka against Burnley.
Arsenal fans think Kai Havertz makes Bukayo Saka even better
Arsenal fans all believe that Kai Havertz is helping to make Bukayo Saka even better during the first-half against Burnley.
Mikel Arteta raised many eyebrows by dropping Viktor Gyokeres and starting the German striker ahead of him.
Despite missing some chances in the first 45 minutes, Havertz and Saka both worked so well with one another and made it so hard for Burnley to keep track of them.
The pair’s persistence eventually paid off in the 37th minute as Havertz leapt above Burnley’s defence to turn home Saka’s corner.
Arsenal fans have now been hailing the combination play between the pair on social media, and love to see the duo score the all-important goal.
- “That’s why Kai Havertz starts. You cannot deny his aerial prowess, especially when you give him a delightful cross like the one Saka gave.”
- “Saka corner to Havertz header, what a beautiful combination for goal.”
- “This new tactic in which Havertz and Saka swap positions very aggressively and intentionally is sensational.”
- “The link-up between Saka and Havertz on the right flank is causing Burnley so many problems. There have been so many combinations and passing exchanges between those two.”
- “If you don’t rate Havertz, I feel so bad for you. He makes Saka so much better.”
- “Kai Havertz is so clear of Gyokeres, it’s a joke. He elevates Trossard and Saka so much.”
- “Saka and Havertz understand each other so, so well.”
So many good celebrations at Arsenal, but whose is the best?
Saka was spotted leaping to mimic heading the ball, given the quality of the delivery, and Havertz obliged with a great finish.
That could now be the goal which ends a 22-year wait for the Premier League title at the Emirates Stadium.
