Per The Athletic, the Tottenham man has been confirmed to have sustained a broken jaw as a result of the collision.
Delap was shown a yellow card at the time, with no review from VAR, much to the dismay of Spence, who took to social media to vent his frustrations.
Tottenham’s Premier League survival will now come down to the final day as they prepare to take on Everton in North London.
