Gotham Police cruisers and yellow taxi cabs have been spotted across Liverpool, a first glimpse of filming getting started for The Batman sequel.
The port was turned into Gotham City in 2020 for the movie starring Robert Pattinson, which became a huge hit when it was released worldwide two years later.
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman Part II will also feature Scarlett Johansson and Charles Dance and is set to screen in cinemas in October 2027.
Official shooting locations are yet to be confirmed by the production team but various vehicles have been spotted outside St George’s Hall and at Queensway Tunnel.
