Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef managed to guide Chiefs to a third-place finish, which will see the team play in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

When asked about their future, Kaze told SuperSport, “About that, we don’t know yet. Next week, we will meet the board and review the season and from that we will assist and a decision will be made.

“We’re calm and look forward to what’s going to happen.”

On the losing finish to the season, Kaze felt the side had enough chances to secure maximum points on the day.

“I would say we started well the game, got a couple of opportunities to give ourselves confidence to score but we lacked a little bit decision-making, composure. I understand as well a lot of attacking players it was their first time starting a game and you know associated them. As well, when you don’t score you give the opportunity the believe to the opponent team,” he said.

“We came back in the second half with better intentions to pressing high, we were getting opportunities but unfortunately, we couldn’t score.

“But as well, it’s a game with a lot of experience that we gave to the young players to play in the Premier League to feel how the league is and I’m pretty sure the future is bright for those young players.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the result we wanted but overall good season, even though we didn’t win a trophy. I’m pretty sure next season after the foundation we laid this season, next season we going to be able and very ready to compete for next season,” Kaze added.
