Why did Ryan Edwards’ wife get a no-contact order? New details emerge

Amanda Conner, wife of Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards, was arrested in Tennessee on DUI and child neglect charges

Amanda Conner, the wife of Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards, was arrested in Tennessee on multiple charges, including DUI and child abuse/neglect, according to reports from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest reportedly took place Sunday morning near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Authorities said Conner was booked on charges of driving under the influence, child abuse/neglect, and driving on the wrong side of the road. Her bond was reportedly set at $16,000.

According to TMZ, Conner had not posted bond at the time of publication and was also issued a no-contact order involving the alleged child victim until at least her scheduled court hearing on June 3.

Law enforcement sources cited by TMZ said Conner is prohibited from contacting the child or the individual temporarily responsible for the child’s care while the case remains active.

TMZ also obtained dispatch audio connected to the alleged incident. In the recording, a dispatcher stated that a husband contacted police expressing concern that his wife may have been using narcotics and had left with a baby in the vehicle. The dispatcher did not identify the individuals by name during the call.

Conner and Edwards began dating in 2023 and married in 2025. Edwards rose to fame through MTV’s Teen Mom franchise and has previously faced his own legal and substance abuse struggles in the public eye.

Neither Conner nor Edwards has publicly commented on the arrest as of now.
