NASCAR points standings, Cup Series points update after Charlotte race

Daniel Suarez boosted his Chase chances after winning the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte on May 24.
Suarez held off Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell on multiple restarts before rain forced the end of the race with 27 laps to go. The driver of the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet moved up to 10th in the points standings.
Austin Cindric’s early-crash DNF was impactful around the Chase cutoff, as was a multi-car crash in the final stage that forced Chase Briscoe and Ryan Preece out of the race. Briscoe picked up important stage points but still lingers near 16th.
Tyler Reddick remains the points leader.
