Krispy Kreme $1.6 Million Settlement: Americans Get June Deadline To Apply

Krispy Kreme doughnuts has agreed to a $1.6 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit over a November 2024 data breach, which had allegedly exposed sensitive information.
Now those affected by the breach could be eligible to receive over $3,000 as part of the settlement. But the time to file a claim is running out.

The doughnut chain reached a settlement following a data incident on November 29, 2024, which allegedly led to the exposure of sensitive private information such as names, dates of birth, social security numbers, and financial accounts.
Krispy Kreme has denied any wrongdoing.
Who Qualifies
According to information published on the settlement website, eligible class members are U.S. residents who received a notice that their personal information may have been impacted.
Those who can submit documentation showing losses related to fraud or identify theft as a result of the breach can achieve the maximum money from the settlement.
How Much Could You Get?
Class members can receive a cash payment of $75 if they do not provide documentation.
Those with documentation of losses can receive up to $3,500.
What Is the Deadline to Apply
There are only a few weeks left to file a claim.
The deadline is June 26.
The last day to either object or opt out is June 6.
