From Selling Sunset to Selling The OC, the streaming platform has never been short of a binge-worthy reality TV series – and Calabasas Confidential is no different.
For years, Calabasas has been known for its gated communities, sprawling mansions, and rich and famous residents. Now, Netflix is pulling back the curtain on the exclusive location with the brand new reality series, Calabasas Confidential. First airing on 29 May, the show follows a tight-knit group of friends (and some rivals, too) as they reunite in Calabasas after graduating college. Returning home to their parents’ mansions after four years apart, they’re forced to confront unresolved drama, navigate relationships, and figure out exactly what comes next in their lives.
One of those who have joined the cast is Suede Brooks, who joined the group as one of our LA newbies. Here’s everything to know about our Calabasas Confidential star.

Who is Suede Brooks?
Suede Brooks is an influencer who has joined the cast of Netflix’s Calabasas Confidential. Although she didn’t grow up in Calabasas, she’s introduced to the group through Nicole Sahebi.
Born 8 February 2001, Nicole is currently 25 years old. For our star sign fans, this also makes her an independent and eccentric Aquarius.
Where is Suede Brooks from?
While most of our Calabasas Confidential cast met while at school or growing up in the area, Suede is introduced to the group through her fellow influencer Nicole. Suede is originally from Las Vegas, where she did online schooling, and recently relocated to Los Angeles. Since moving to the city, you’ll find her enjoying late night drives with the windows down or sipping her eponymous La La Land order, The Suede (aka a banana cream latte…)
Nicole also admitted to Netflix’s Tudum that she’s far from a homebody. Saying she loves to travel and likes to ‘fly private when I can,’ Nicole said she’s always up for a ‘hot-girl trip to the South of France or a sexy fling for a month in Amsterdam.’

Suede is an influencer who boasts over 1 million TikTok followers and over 1.7 million Instagram followers. She initially broke onto the social media scene as a teenager, having started a YouTube channel.
Suede’s also know for being the ‘poker princess,’ having appeared at a few poker tournaments over the years (including 2024’s Celebrity Poker Tour.)

Having risen the ranks of the influencing world, Suede has been linked to some pretty big names over the years. She was once spotted with Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick, was pictured in Saint-Tropez on rapper Drake’s yacht, and previously dated Kid Cudi.

Suede comes from a pretty creative family. Her mum Lisa has worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years, with her dad Steven opening a Las Vegas salon named Diva Studio alongside her mum. Suede’s siblings also work in creative industries: her brother Blaze is a graphic designer, while her sister India Rae is also an influencer.
The family suffered heartbreak in 2021, when Steven passed away.
What has Suede Brooks said about Calabasas Confidential?
When it comes to drama, Suede is bringing plenty of it in season one. She told Netflix’s Tudum that she’s ‘the one people call when they want the real answer, even if they don’t like the truth.’
And you can always expect the star to be upfront. ‘If it matters, I handle it,’ she said, adding, ‘If it doesn’t, I move on.’
