Aaron Judge sidelined with injury in massive Yankees concern

Aaron Judge is dealing with a bone bruise near his right shoulder and was out of the lineup Tuesday — and potentially longer.
Aaron Boone said Tuesday that Judge had been dealing with shoulder soreness for “the last couple of weeks.”
The manager added that while the injury was “nagging” Judge, it worsened over the weekend in Sacramento.

“It became more than that and I noticed it on a couple swings,” Boone said.
Judge received imaging Monday and was scheduled to meet with a doctor Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury.
Boone said Judge could be dealing with a day to day injury “or it could be longer.”
There was no specific play that’s been tied to the injury, but it helps explain Judge’s recent issues at the plate.
While Judge still has some of the best numbers in the game, he mostly struggled in May.
Now, his June is off to a worrisome start.
