It’s official! Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will mark the final entry in the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy, and the crucial bit from an Xbox perspective is that it will launch day one on Xbox Series X and S!
Yes, we won’t be forced to wait around this time — as we had to with both Intergrade and Rebirth — as Revelation is getting a simultaneous release across all platforms. Multiple trailers were shown off for the game at today’s Summer Game Fest 2026 event, and the show concluded with a release window announcement of Spring 2027.
