Getting ahead of myself here, but — if the Knicks hold on — I just asked Marcus Thompson (sitting to my left on press row in the rafters) if he thought the Knicks could have beat a healthy Oklahoma City squad in the Finals?

It’s a roundabout way of trying to process the fact that the KNICKS might be in fantastic position to win a title here. That’s just not something I saw coming earlier this season. (And for the record, Marcus said he thinks it’s more possible now, having seen these first two games, than he would have said before the series.)
